Name: Koriand'r / Kory Anders / Starfire
Door: Right.

Canon: Titans
Canon Point: 3x03

Age: 32
Appearance: i know, i'm hot.

History: Here.
Personality:
+ WARMTH: Kory lives and breathes the found family dynamic: we see this early on, even in the midst of her temporary amnesia. She is drawn to Rachel, not just as a lingering knowledge of her mission, but with a real sense of empathy and compassion. Kory wants to help her, protecting her and even being unable to follow through with her mission to kill her. This bond is mutual, and as s2 progresses, we see that Rachel turns to Kory for guidance and support. She seems to be a natural caretaker, gravitating towards looking after her teammates on instinct. This only grows in season two, with her relationship with Donna taking a sisterly bond that is, as we come to find out in s3, actually entirely foreign to her. Kory wants to love, and she gives out so much to her team. We see this warmth with Dick at several of his lowest points in all three seasons, even overcoming her frustrations with him to return to the team to help in s2. As elaborated on in the next section, Kory has a distinct lack of patience when frustrated or stressed, which can often mean her warmth comes out as tough love, especially towards Dick. We see this with how she grieves Jason; angry at his lack of growth (and ironically, his lack of patience), and then quietly mourning him on her own with a toast. Even with Hank, she is relieved to see him and Dawn back with the team, taking obvious comfort when they're united as one. In fact, Kory often fights to keep them united, with a vast preference for their devotion to one another over conflict. We see this evolve further with her sister, Komand'r: at first wary and suspicious, but quickly thawing to extend the acceptance and warmth she's shown to her new family. Kory seems to be the one the team come to for advice and for comfort by s3, with Gar and Connor coming to her when they feel lost or need advice.

- IMPATIENCE: This isn’t to say Kory can’t be patient, but rather she expresses impatience more easily when when she is anxious, frustrated or angry. She has little patience for those she feels in opposition to, and this is often intensified if she feels rushed. In s3, we see her rush in with her fire abilities in an attempt to stop Crane, in what is an obvious state of desperation. She acts before thinking, and ultimately the explosion and damage results in Gotham's water supply being exposed to Crane's newest fear toxin. This can be hypocritical: at times she preaches that Dick, for example, should wait and use his head, while she will completely disregard this at times when it comes to her own self-interests. Her relationship with her sister is complicated, but during their time rebuilding their sisterhood, Kory goes against what she knows Dick would deem an inappropriate and personally hurtful means to an end. She bargains with a known Gotham mob boss for information. This impatience for information on Crane leads to the death of an innocent man, something which Kory reacts to in anger, incinerating the mob boss in an act entirely outside of the ethics and morals of her team. This deep rooted impatience is tied entirely with her impulsiveness, with both traits working together to make her a timebomb at times.

- IMPULSIVE: Surprising no-one, Kory’s impatience can often make her impulsive. Decisions can be made on emotional responses when she is anxious. Kory acts on what will suit her personally a lot of the time, especially when it comes to her own personal comfort. She left Tamaran on impulse to prevent Trigon; she decided to stay on Earth on impulse despite knowing doing so would cause political problems on Tamaran. When she is stressed, Kory os ruled by her emotions, and it can lead to disaster: when she attacks Scarecrow on impulse in 3x08, it leads to the immediate contamination of Gotham’s water supply, for example.

- HUBRIS: Although she has taken leaps and bounds to grow, there is a lingering hubris to Kory that is difficult to shake. It comes from being royalty in part, but also from her strength and sense of self-worth. Kory's pride is strong, and often she finds it difficult when it is knocked or she finds herself having to admit to a wrong. When her worldview is challenged, she can become defensive, and as previously stated, she is incredibly stubborn. Eventually she thaws, but it is something she continues to evolve from.

Powers and Abilities:
• SOLAR POWERED: Kory has the ability to burn hot, creating fire. This differs slightly from her comic starbolts: Kory is seen burning from the inside out, harnessing fire that could potentially be on parallel with Tamaran’s sun or atmosphere. This is power unique to Tamaran’s royal family, according to Titans lore. *If canon updated, Kory will lose this ability.
• FLIGHT: She can fly. Whether this is specific on Earth hasn’t been confirmed.
• SUPER STRENGTH: Strong enough to rip doors from hinges and punch through walls. Could probably bench press you.

*Upon a canon update, these abilities are likely to change depending on where Titans takes them. Powers are nerfed suitably for Duplicity's setting.

Inventory:
Her purple and gold suit.
